I should have said something on this board a long time ago aboiut this so now is as goo as time as ever . I always use a BOTTOMING TAP to clean out the holes and also use either or brake clean to wash out the holes and blow dry and it does not hurt to ADD a couple of threads to the bottom but i have never had a head bolt bottom out on me yet , if it was a FEL PRO gskt . now i have had a hard time getting them to seal on the gassers and have since gone to the diesel toqure spec. on gassers this gets the job done.
