McCormick-Deering Grey

I'm looking for the paint codes for McCormick-Deering Grey (pre-1935). I have seen two different shades, a light and a dark? Which is correct? I've heard that they were using battleship surplus paint at the factory, but has anyone declared one shade to be "the one"? I am starting on a 10-20, and want to get the right shade of grey for it.
