If you use other than the oil specified in your operators manual your Manufactures Warrenty might be void. Better check with your Farmall dealer!

Seriously, I'm not an engineer but the bearings and other wearing surfaces of the 50 year old engines were designed for the lubricating products of the day. And just because the new truck works well with product "X" doesn't mean the old red tractor will also.
