From the parts book, the piece that bolts to the tranny is the 'drawbar'. It has two bolts in front and two in back to attach to the tranny. Height in back is somewhat adjustable by using one of two sets of holes. Drawbar is almost a square shape made from maybe 3/8 to 1/2" steel, with ears that stand up verticaly in the back for the hight adjustment bolt positions. It has the standard horizontal drawbar setup on the rear with 6 or 7 holes. In the front it's a little curved with provision for the pin to secure the swinging drawbar. The 'swinging drawbar' is made from C section stamped steel that rides under the back of the drawbar and curves up under the tranny to where it pins at the front of the drawbar mentioned earlier. The 'swinging drawbar hitch plate' is maybe 3/4 to 1" thick flat steel bar that bolt up in the C channel of the swinging drawbar. It has several pairs of holes drilled to allow variable spacing from the tractor to the hitch point. And just to add to the confusion ;) there is also a fast hitch drawbar (a U shapped piece with the two points to plug into the fast hitch), and a fasthitch swinging drawbar that mounts with the drawbar to give about the same functionality as the original setup. If you're going to do heavy drawbar towing (like disking, etc) then I would recommend that you go ahead and switch over to the standard drawbar. I've seen to many worn out fast hitches because of the heavy towing done using the hitch (which replaces the drawbar, instead of having provision to work with a standard drawbar the way most 3 pnt hitches do).
