I've got a Super A, which is an earlier version of the 140. In the last 20 years, I've had the O-rings in the little hyd. pump go out at least three times. Each time it happens, It pumps the hyd. system oil into the crank case. At first this starts slow, I just drain excess CC oil, and top off the hyd. system. Eventually it gets so bad, I have to take the pump off & put in new seals. This is the reason I use the same oil in the hyd. system as I have in the engine. I don't want the engine crank case full of some kind of hydraulic fluid. I use straight NON-DET. 30wt. in both the engine and the hydraulics. If you use a detergent oil, the hydraulics will foam & the pump will cavitate, giving you erratic operation of the lift arms. (another way to look at this, if I used hydraulic oil in the hyd system, the seals might last longer in the first place!)............DDG
