I just converted my Super C to 12 volts with a single wire alternator. Tractor starts , runs great , lights all work as they should but absolutely no reading on the ammeter. The alternator is putting out good voltage but I show no charge and nothing changes when I turn on the lights. The needle just sits in the middle of the gage. I have the hot line from the alternator running to the right post ( as you face the rear of the tractor )of the ammeter and the left post carries the wire from the starter post and a line to the fuse. From the fuse I go to the off/on switch and then on to the light switch and resister. I must have something wrong. Oh its a new ammeter. HELP Thanks Bud
