As I stated the first time I asked about these plows last week I have a 2-14" #8 plow. I can't seem to get moldboards and shares. I found a 3-14" IH plow for sale. The 3 bottom has different moldboards etc. I've done some research on the web but am still a bit confused. I see references to Plow chief and super chief. Parts for these seem available. I got a part # off the 3 bottom moldboard and it seems to match a plow chief number. What is plow chief and super chief referring to? Model? I also need terminology help. Moldboard is obvious. The share runs along the bottom of the moldboard, right? What is the shin? Is that the point? Also the main beams on the 3 are the same number as my 2 bottom. It appears I could change the frogs over to my 2-bottom and go.I think? Am I using the term "frog" right? I believe it's the part that attaches moldboard etc to the main beam. Sorry this is long winded. But I'm trying to explain as clearly as I can. Thanks for any and all help, Mike
