Question on a Farmall A

I was out tractor hunting the other day, and ran into a guy with an A for sale, a few things puzzled me, on the hood, there was another gas cap on the right side that the gentleman told me was used for kerosene to start it with, and once started, you would switch back over to gas, located in the regular tank, also it had a hydraulic pump on the lower front side of the engine, like the one on my Super C, but there were hoses running to an auxillary tank ( added on by owner ) behind the seat to run some hydraulic lines for a mower or something, so should it have Touch Control like a C?, this leads me to believe it is a Super A? It also had an aftermarket seat with a coil spring in the middle like the seat on a C, shouldn't it have the two little leaf springs on each side like a B? Any info would be helpful, the sheet metal was excellent except for the hole in the hood for the (kerosene?) tank, what would it be worth, est. high and low, rubber was also good. Thanks in advance.
