I will have to agree with you. The old tractors that I am messing with are a lot older than they were when I was growing up.

My dad used to Farm with a JD 720 back in the 60's. He really can't tell you much about working on them though. When he had it, it was almost a new tractor. It just ran.

We now have to concern ourselves with repairs that folks didn't used to have to worry about. I'm new to the "hobby". When I used to use these old tractors in the late 70's they were just old tractors.
