So - I'm working on this Cub Serial 220068J, which I think puts it in the 1962-63 range. For what it's worth, it's yellow/white, but has significant red paint under the yellow top coat. It's got mega-hours dragging a reel gangmower behind it on a golf course. It will be used for our sorta large (3 acre) yard and garden. We don't need it to mow, but it would be excellent to have a bucket loader and snowplow as well as dragging a disk harrow through the garden, if only to upstage the neighbors :) It's weak - we can drive it, sorta, or run the belly mowerj - but not both at once. It's had no maintenance to speak of for years. I bought the IH shop manual and have started stripping it for paint. Where do I start on the engine? I played hell getting the plugs out - next is the distributor/points, I guess - I'm a little reluctant to break into the engine until I check out the externally fixable stuff. Thanks in advance.......
