The tractor isn't junk,but your looking at something that won't be cheap to fix.You will have to check the shafts for wear when you get it apart and make sure you check all the gears and replace any with cracked or broken teeth.You will have to split the tractor to do the repairs.You may be just as well off to look for another trans or tractor for parts and just fix it that way.
