Noise in SA final drive, or is it the tranny?

Thanks for the great help in the past. Ever since I got my tractor about a year ago it's made a good bit of noise when in motion. It seems to me that the tranny makes a bit of noise (as I understand should be expected), but what worries me is the much louder 'growling' that I hear from somewhere in the proximity of the left final drive housing. Does that sound normal for a Super A, or do I need to start hunting for the problem?
