Allan: Yes you are both right and wrong. What is now 11.2x38 would have been a 10x38 in the old days and yes the early H's did come with that tire. Later they went to 11x38 or new designation 12.4x38. I don't think too many were ever sold on 12x38 or 13.6x38, that didn't really come until Super H and more likely 300. There were areas of the continant outside that huge western plain, looking for wider tires long before they came. People in the east were looking for floatation long before it happened. The mid west and prarries didn't need floatation so it didn't happen quickly.
