If my memory is rite, I think the static running pressure on that series tractors was about 110#s PSI. And that may be enough to cause a heating problem. Ran a 300U from 1956 until 1984 and cann't say it ran hot. Planting with 6 row planter, cultaviting with 6 row rear mount. And many hours running a model 46 hay baler.
