I bought a 300 Utility through an auction from a grain elevator. The tractor had been used by many and maintaned by none. After a lot of work and $$$$ I have most of the bugs ironed out and now wondering what it would take to put a 3 point hitch on it????? Does anyone have any info on what is available and where it may be found? Also I just put the extensions on the loader bucket and it is now 8-1/2 feet wide. I know I am going to need as much traction as I can to move this much snow IF the tractor can handle it. Can someone give me some tips on getting some weight on the back of the tractor other than wheel weights? I have fluid in the tires and was thinking of building a box on the drawbar and filling it with sand/gravel ?????? Next question --- I had to repair the power steering unit and the mechanic told me he thought the tractor must be a 350 Utility because he thought the steering unit was heavier than the one suposedly on the 300 Utility. How can I tell if it is a 300 or a 350???? Thanks before hand for any info ---- This is an AWESOME message board.
