Hugh, If I remember right, the crank won't just drop in because the journel sizes, rear main seal and it's retainer are different. The C135 heads went to a 14 bolt pattern at some point, would have to go study the parts book some more on that one. The complete C135 would probably work if it came from a 404 and not the 330/340. I think that block had a different bolt pattern at the bellhousing. Stan(VA).
