Hi, Was just wondering if anyone has experience with Fire Crater pistons, specially on the 100-140 series Farmalls. On the Carter & Gruenewald site, they list the proper size Fire Craters as 3/16 bore and I though it should be 3/18 bore for a Farmall 100. http://www.cngco.com/oem.engine.html 3 3/16 Bore for A-AV, Super A, 100, 200 I talked to their customer rep, and he said that the fire crater design gives better compression, burns fuel more efficiently less carbon build up. The only downsides were higher cost and it was harder to handcrank. Orientation is the same as normal. Anyone try this out or have any comments on the Fire Crater in general. Was it an aftermarket or did IH make these? Thanks Ramon
