The C has a thermosyphon cooling system. The hot water rises up through the block and down through the radiator. It is not uncommon to hear them boil/bubble a little when they are hot. They are a non-pressurized system but with a good radiator cap on it it does have a little pressure on it. If you take the cap off when it is hot you may get a little more boiling. The C does not have a thermostat in it. The intake and exhaust valves are both set to 0.014" hot.
