Hi I have posted on here and several have helped with other problems. I overhauled my H this winter and now it wont start worth a darn. Runs great when it does and has power as I plowed with it today, but cranks and cranks forever. I had it to where it was running decent, but then it died on me whn going down the road. Ended up being spark plugs, put old plugs in and it started off. So I took it to a show today and it cranked for a while then fired and ran good this morning. Shut it off to go get a plow part and came back and it wouldnt start. Put brand new plugs in and it cranked a little and started and ran good, then started hard but started after I hauled it home. My buddies tractor you hit the starter button it turns over twice and is running. Mine cranks and cranks and you have to play with choke till it fires and hope it stays running. Why would it not want to start/ ruin plugs? we put it at dead center and set timing then adjusted it to where it ran good. Is there a way you can use a timing light? I dont really believe timing is issue because it runs best where we have it set. What is proper clearance and way to set tappets/ check valves? Thanks for help and sorry for long post. Matt
