Only things I can add is that Super M's had a 12 volt system with flat headlights along with what everyone previously said and all the Supers I've seen had a distinctive lower front casting just above the front wheels to to accomodate the newer style front mount cultivators, this one would have been hard to take from any other tractor except another super or smta or later. We got into a heated discussion about this a few months ago in this forum. I'm not sure the SM on the ser # plate means Super. The Supers were only built one or two years. I think 52-53. There seems to be a lot of old M's running around with SM on their SN plates. Beware!!
