OK So I got a lot of help from my post Friday night but I am still unclear as to what dots line up with what dots. According to the IT manual and a lot of your responses there should be a set of single dots and a set of double dots. However, on my 53 Super C there are 2 sets of single dots and a set of double dots. Now I have attached a link with pictures (I hope it works) showing how I have them lined up, then a second picture of how the dots line up once I rotate the crank 360 degrees (that would be 180 for the cam). As you can see I start with the single dots matching, then rotate and the single dots no longer match. My grandfather and I think I am 1 tooth off but are unsure. I would hate to get it all back together and then find out it was wrong. So I look forward to some insight tomorrow when I get on. Thanks again for everyone that responds. Josh P.S. If the link says it is unavailable or doesn’t exist try again in a little bit. I just posted the pictures and it takes the website time to catch up.
