When I was a boy we had an H and the hand crank, could be put between the block and frame to carry it. The H was bad about locking if we could not rock it in fith then get the crank and just bump it a little. much easier than loosening the starter. I eat breaskfast 5 or 6 mornings a week with a 83 year old man that worked and retired from a IHC dealer it Springfield, Mo I think he said 39 years. Many of them he was Service Mang. He said the H"s and M"s both were bad.
