Looks like my post didn't make it the first time. At least I hope this isn't a duplicate. I thought it might be better/easier on the implements to not to place down force on the bush hog or snow blade on the 300U. I'm using the 3-point adapter prongs in the Fast Hitch sockets. The operators manual says to turn the control on the valve from 'D' to 'S' to achieve no down-force. I did so. I had assumed that this would cause the implement to come down by gravity when I pushed the lever towards 'down.' However, it doesn't come down at all. Did I miss something? Do I need to disconnect a hose? Am I wrong in believing it's better to skip the down-force and let the bush-hog 'float' a bit when the back wheels go into a low spot?
