Well, looks like you guys were right. I opened the top petcock on the oil pan and sure enough, it was over-full by the amount I added to the resevoir. Even with the crankcase over-full by several quarts, I didn't notice any change in performance. I will get the new seals this week, but I have 2 further questions: If I run the tractor before fixing the seals, will I burn up the pump due to lack of fluid? And have I damaged the engine by contaminating the oil with Hy-Tran? Thank you very much for the help. Sam
