Yes, that is the first thing I thought of too; tapped the coupler forward from the rear and it is nice and free. Can't see any foreign crap in there at all, other than a little over spray at the outer edge from the paint job.

The tip positions itself deep enough as it should, but just doesn't wanna stay in there. It seems as all is well until I throw that lever, then it just wants to jump right back out again if I move that hose at all. I always tug on 'em a little before I start the tractor to make sure that they are seated properly.

It is kind of like when you hook one up that has pressure against the cylinder and it can't unseat the ball.

I'm guessing a bad coupler too. Darned tractors! :>)
