Need some ideas fellas. Ok , I got a 53 Sup M with a 281c motor and LP head. Engine runs real good, very very minimal smoke. The crank case vent is puffing and blowing oil out. Oil is also weeping out around the head gasket and down the motor block. I tightened the head down to spec and no change. I dont seam to be mixing fluids. Someone added a valve cover vent like a car at some point and when removed it blows oil everywhere. I performed a compression test and got #1 -125, #2- 127, #3- 133, #4- 135. I then added oil for a wet test and the compression went up 10#'s consistanlly on all four. I thought rings @ first but Im leaning more to head gasket. Has anyone ever seen a blown head gasket pressurize the head, crackcase and such??
