Head Repair Question 450D

After pulling the head on Dads 450D, I found not 1 cracked cylinder but four. Guess the ole girl is batting 100%. I have what appears to be a good head from a UD6. It is basically the same, but a few of the inner workings are slightly different.

Now for the question. Should I get the cracked head welded. (It is cracked between the valves on all 4 cylinders). Should I get the good used head I have redone and change the necessary things to make it work. Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new head.

To make matters worse. As I was walking by it today, I noticed that the top of the sleeves are junk. New sleeves. :( Of course I noticed this as I was making room in the operating area for my 560D. It needs the head gasket replaces and probably has needed it since the late 80's. Wouldn't have noticed it leaking if I hadn't gotten curious as to why the big grease spot on the side of the engine seemed to be getting damper.
