Thanks for the responce. The seals that were on there looked like the lip was out? If I put the lip in toward the oil the the steel face of the seal would be up against the felt. I guess that would be ok. I didn't know i needed the felt, I guess I should order that also. What is the felt for, to keep dirt out of the seal? The other thing I was wondering is why is there a grease fitting on the housing? The axel bearing is oiled by the transmission oil.
