I posted a few days ago about trying to decide to buy a C or an H. I decided to buy the C and answered why at my other post incase anybody missed it. Now I have the C I tried to look up the serial number but all I see are 5 numbers for the C and my serial number has 6 numbers in it. My serial number is FC 141389. The casting number on the transmission case is 3516687-R5. The casting number on the block is 354898. Are there any other numbers I should be looking for on the block? Anyboy have any ideas if this is a C or Super C by the serial number and block numbers? Is there a site anywhere I can look to find out what block and casting numbers on different parts of the tractor mean? Sorry for all the questions just the first tractor I have owned and am a bit excited about it even though I am 45 years old lol. I will post a couple of pics of it when I get the film developed. Thanks for any answers anybody can give me. terryj
