Super M Power Steering?

I bought my Super M about a month ago and by no means am I knowledgable about tractors. I was told it did not have power steering and so didn't think twice about it. Then last weekend I was mowing and the steering stopped working. I looked under the tin and could see that there was a sleeve connecting two parts of the steering rod and the bottom half of the steering rod was not turning. Seemed easy enough to replace the key or bolt that kept all that together. When I took off the tin I noticed what I am guessing is power steering. Can anyone verify that this is power steering (see picutres at URL)? And if so tell me where I can find out more about how it works so I can get it working. Thanks!
