Bob, I need a little assistance in converting my H from a 6 volt to 12 volt system. I have read everything I could find on this site and have received some very helpful emails from little john and Richard Fazio on the conversion as well. I am probably doing a little more then is required but I want to keep it clean and simple. I am wanting to install a 12 voil coil as well to stay away from the necessary ballast resistor and it's mounting problems if at all possible. I found out today at the local parts store 12 volt coils come in several different flavors. I would like some direction as to what the coil type should be and a make, brand, part number or some identifying characteristics to obtain the correct one or type. I am planning to use the Hitachi #14231 alternator due to the limited room under the H hood. I am using your wiring diagram by replacing the Delco 10SI with the Hitachi alternator. Your comments will be greatly appreciated along with my sincere thanks.

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
