Super M building a pond ?

Would a Super M with a bucket and a seven foot blade dig a small pond ? I have never dug a pond before but the price they want to do this is kinda high... Anyone have any experience building a pond with a "M" ? Any tricks of the trade I need ? Thanks Jeff
