The kit was never installed at the plant. The reason for the kit was to get rid of the TA cable. With time the cab mounts would get soft and as the cab moved up and down it would also move the spool on the MCV up and down causing the TA to shift in and out of TA when you were just going down the road. I have installed quite a few of these kits and they are not bad.
