I think CNKS and Bob M have the misconseption
that if a SM is equiped with a belley pump the
battery is always under gas tank.Not so,from
tractor serial numbers I posted and after IH or
customer had the option of live hydraulic or belley pump.After those serial # tractors were equiped with battery under seat,on off switch in amp box,belt pulley engage rod to left side,choke
rod little different and other small changes even
if it came with a belley pump.
