hey bob, thanks for the info in the other posts about using the 1n4001 diode. i was going nuts and didnt want to use the light. but one more question. im sure you have seen the 1 wire adapter plugs that you use to make a 3 wire to a 1 wire, i know that these will cause battery drain when off, i tried one. but if i make my own with the diode and resister can i just take terminal 1 (with diode and resiter) and go straight to (bat)terminal along with terminal 2 (already on bat terminal)? would this cause my altenator to stay (pulled in) and probably cause the regulator to burnout? or would that make it a 1 wire that didnt cause battery drain. i would run the ign straigt through swith then to battery. and thanks again for the diode trick. bryan
