I purchased a 544 hydro that had some of the same symptoms. I replaced ALL fluids in the tractor. I beleive the hytran res should hold 20 gallons. I always recommend changing all fluids and filter. I also had to make sure all the air got out of the lines for the loader and steering by fully etending and retracting all cylinders. Steering fully right then left. I also had a few loose fittings that were letting air get back in the lines. You also need to clean the relief screen as well. Get a manual and follow the procedures. Hydro's are a little whinny it seams. I myself am gonna wait for my full opinions on hydros till after i see how it holds up to feild tillage. Other weise she will be a BALING TRACTOR
