Thanks for your replys- I used Either around all the gaskets and found no difference. The head and manifold have been surfaced. This is a Hysler manifold that looks to have alot larger ports than a IH manifold hope that does"nt hamper vacuam signal. If the choke is pulled just a little it runs faster and real smooooooooth! I have already enlarged the idle jet a couple sizes and it only helped slightly. But there is a "compensator jet" that looks to feed the gallery were the idle jet feeds from. I will remove it and try again. Maybe that jet is way to small, I suspect it is from a F-20. Thanks again!
