scott, # 1 When I rebuilt mine I had the tan o-rings left over as I recall. #2 If the bores are smooth and the bore size is uniform I wouldnt do anything. #3 I used the permatex sealant in the can with the brush applicator on the bottom plate and the front cylinder head, just allow it to get tacky before reassambly. #4 After I had torn the whole unit down, I brought the block into work and let it sit in the cleaning tank for a day and then blew out all the passage ways with high pressure. This also loosened all the old gasket material so that it was easy to clean off. scotty
