I have found that WIX filters are among the best...however,I have one reservation.....the spin on filter used on 300 conversions.Their filter base is scary! There is one pin prick hole in the center and one pin prick hole around the perimeter...that is all to allow oil flow,just those pin pricks! The CASE/IH filter looks like a regular car one,with fully open threaded hole and multiple small round holes around it.The WIX filter looks to me like it would starve the engine of oil.Its listed for many pieces of equipment...but frankly I wouldnt use it.I hate to spend $8.00 for the genuine article (plus shipping),but piece of mind is priceless.
