Ed: I suspect your castings will not take the new type brakes. I am only going from memory. I have a Super A with old type and a 130 with the new type. I have had both apart, not at same time, but would say the castings are different. I would check part numbers on those final drives, before starting. I cant see a great difference in the effectiveness of either type. My brake bands are relatively new on both tractors. I wouldn't spend a whole lot of money to change over. I realize the new type band is much less expensive.
