Not much to describe. The bushings are visibly scored, as are the rocker shafts. The IT manual says the bushings are not replacable, but Justin Weber pointed me to a site that has truck engine bushings, and the rockers have the same part number as the tractor ones. To make sure I get it right, I can take them to someone with a press, to make sure it's right. The rockers themselves are stamped steel, looks like they might bend fairly easy, I don't know. New shafts are cheap compared to the rockers. How critical are the valve contact surfaces? -- mine have 100% variation from one to another. If I thought I could get them right, the bushings are cheap. I know I have to work to save some money, but I don't want to drive all over the adjoining states looking at parts, these parts are critical to proper operation of the engine, unlike other used parts I have bought. Nearest salvage yard is Abilene Machine, about 200 miles from here, may be worth the trip. This area is not like the midwest, where there are red tractors around every corner. Thanks for the information, that's what this board is for.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
