The water temp gauge mounts on the right front of the motor. There is a bracket that attatches to the govenor. The sensor goes in the right side of the top water neck; I think thereis a 3/8" pipe plug there. Only the Distillate Super A had a temp gauge because they had radiator shutters that were adjusted to keep the enige the right temp. Most Super A's do not have the fitting in the water neck for the sender. You would need the bracket, water neck and gauge. The 100, 130, and 140 water neck should work and have the hole. Don't know if it would read much without a water pump and thermostat or radiator shutters though.
