Guess that describes mine pretty well. The loader is real heavy
duty and I think it's been on forever, probably saw heavy use in a
state highway department sand yard. I could live with the loosey
goosey steer-a-battleship steering, but I have a right wheel that
will suddenly flop outwards broadside to the line of travel if it
encounters rough terrain. (The left stays straight no matter
what.) First time I thought I had broken the tractor but I learned
it can somehow take it, thanks be to the IH god that was. But it
stops the rig cold and has been problematic when trying to
bucket snow in close proximity to the garage or house this
winter. It has also gotten me stuck in rough terrain crossing a
broken field; suddenly no forward momentum and then I get
stuck but good! And the broadsided right wheel, which doesn't
respond well to the spin-the-bottle steering, offers great
resistance when I try to back up from being stuck; no rocking is
possible. I have to dig and jack some of the time if the bucket
won't free me because my rear tires are 97% worn and don't get
a lot of traction in tough spots.

Oh well, my 240U was affordable and it runs most of the time,
but best in dry fair weather.
