As far as my memory serves me, Deering ws removed in 1946, and the IH logo added. Then again, I could be wrong as I"m depending on a good but short memory. Hugh, does your 53 Super A have the IH logo on the side decal? You really got me wondering if you might have the earlier decal if it isnt the original decal. I know IH was famous for adding, then deleting, then adding then deleting names. Think back to how many times we get into the Culti-vision discussion. I thought I had that one all sorted out until Guy Fay muddied my mental waters again. I thought both 39 and 40 models A&B were sans Culti-vision, only to learn that the 40 had Culti-vision. Then I was given reason to think that in 40 there were some of both. I also learned, or was led to believe that tractors that were exported from the U.S. had different or added decals. Did this apply to tractors going into Canada, or just overseas?
