My prayers for the families of the slain officers. Events like this really get my blood boiling. I don"t know what our country is going to be like twenty years from now, the way Canadian politicians act. They see no harm in drugs and would probably legalize them at the drop of the hat. Maybe they should go on a tour of the Netherlands and see just what that country found out when they legalized drugs. And don"t get me started on the subject of gun control. We have spent BILLIONS (yes Billions not millions) on our gun registry. Every Canadian should sleep a lot sounder at night knowing that the government knows where every hunter or target shooter"s gun is. Meanwhile smuggled illegal or stolen weapons cause the vast majority of gun violence here. At least the criminal shot himself and saved us from a media circus, not to mention the cost of keeping him in prison till he died. I am afraid we will see many more RCMP widows in the future. John
