stroker kit for an M

I have an M and a SM and I am considering putting a stroker kit in one of them. Which would be the better choice to put it in? Anyone have any 'lessons learned' regarding a stroker kit in an M? I'm interested in the do's and don'ts and any advice others may have before I get started. thanks -ben
