Got it running finally. I think the float was just rubbing/stuck on the side of the bowl. I tapped on the sides of it and it seemed to come loose. It will run at low idle like a champ, extremly smooth, which is great. When I advance the throttle though, it wants to cut out all together. I tried adjusting it several different ways w/the fuel mixture screw and the bowl adjustment. It still does it though. Could this be the linkage to the carb from the throttle? Maybe it isn't quite right. Could it be from the fuel level in the float being too low? It doesn't leak gas anymore, but I can't get it to throttle up/power up. I can adjust the idle speed screw on the side up very high and it runs great, just can't advance the throttle or it kills it. Went in a circle in the pasture on idle. It seems like it takes a lot of choking to get it started. A shot of starter fluid will get it going quickly, but other times, after it dies, it just doesn't want to start on its own.
