Call me crazy, but when I mow the mower has to at least cover the tires of the tractor. Mowing grass that's been mashed down by the rear tractor tires doesn't work all that well. A 60" deck on an H? You'd have to dish the wheels in and slide them so close that the'd be rubbing your butt. Then the tractor would be pretty tipsy...

There are a fleet of sidewalk plows set up like that, with CHAINS nonetheless. The poor driver's gotta be beat to death with the tires running so close like that.

Nah, you want a 72" deck, minimum. Even then you need the wheels dished in, but at least you and the rear tires won't be trying to share the seat.
