H to SH Clutch Question

I am rebuilding my '44 H, and sometime in the past my original flywheel was replaced with a Super H flywheel. I didn't figure this out until after having the flywheel balanced and re-surfaced and finally finding a friction disk that fit. Now everything is back together, and although I can adjust the clutch rod to get the 1 -1/8" free movement, I have almost no ability to adjust for wear, i.e., the rod is nearly as long as I can make it. Does anyone know if the SH adjustment rod is longer and if it will fit an H? It sure would be cheaper to replace the rod than to get a new flywheel, etc, etc. Thanks.
