auxillary tank repair / replacement

After thoroughly cleaning the insides of my M's auxillary tank I discovered a 'ring' of holes ~1/4 way up from the bottom - just about the level where the dirt, dust and other crud had built up to and sat for umpteen years. I've plugged most of the holes with J-B weld-like compound but there's still leaking around the backside where the bracket is, an arean I can't get to without major cutting open the tank, etc. Any suggestion on it's repair or should I just replace the whole thing? Where can I find a replacement?
